Colonel Abrams??? Just when you thought you knew everything about Prince. I just came across an article that talked about Colonel Abrams working with Prince in the early days, before WB, with 94 East?
I was like, Colonel Abrams?? Being from New York and I'm sure Chicago fans know all about Colonel Abrams during the original house music days (oh, the memories). Just thought I'd share that info.

Colonel Abrams? Wow! I never would have guessed they worked together at any point.
If there were any two people that sounded similiar it was Colonel Abrams and Teddy Pendegrass. Either way, I loved them both. Anyone know whatever happened to Colonel? I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin.

His dance moves crack me up. Does anyone remember the video for "Trapped"? OMG! that move where he's jerking the tassles on his coat with his shoulders while pumping his fist is hysterical! Also, In the video for "How Soon They Forget" He was doing the Oak Tree!! Morris should sue his @$$.

I saw the Col on TV once mention Prince in an interview. (This was back in 1985 and "Trapped" ruled on the radio). He stated that Prince played guitar in his backing band in 1975-76. He said he was "really quiet but really good" and "better than most guys twice his age".
