Georgio or Clayton Savage

I have wondered about this for years...does anyone know what happened to Georgio? Recently on the 'bodyguard' thread, a pic of Mazarati was posted. That guy in the middle looks a lot like Georgio...anyway, what ever happened. I think his last disc was in 1991.

Clayton Savage...has anyone heard of him? He had a very Princish album out on EMI in 1985. The cover was him in a whirlpool or soemthing with a guitar and studs around his neck. He was a really good singer and had soem real good Prince like songs.

Anyone remember?

I'm really not familiar with Clayton, evidently he's still making music.
Check out his website www.claytonsavage.com Very interesting site, it even has some cool downloadable music content.

I don't know how I managed to overlook him, especilally when I kept a pretty keen eye out for any new artist that were even remotely influenced by Prince during that period of time.

Again, WOW! I'm blown away twice in a day.

1. I had no idea Clayton was still in business. For Prince lovers, this is a little gem. His first album was very Jesse/Princeish. I used to say, it was Jesse but with Prince's voice. Virgin Lover...awesome! YOu got to hear one part in it where he does this Prince like grunt or somethign...sounds just like Prince.

2. I saw a pic of Georgeio with Brownmark. I had no idea he had been part of the whole Prince scene.

I am still around. Thanks for kickin' my name around on the Prince.Org site.

I am still a fan of prince also.

Stuff I do now... there's a trace of the purple one if you listen hard enough.

Other stuff I have coming out later... some deliberate Princeish type stuff... cuz I still dig the way he used to sing so much.

Thanks again.
