Advance notice for lovers of live MPLS funk music!!!

ST. PAUL & THE MINNEAPOLIS ALL STARS will be performing his first, long awaited live debut show in the UK on Thursday 29th June 2006 at the legendary 300 capacity 100 Club.

DATE: THURSDAY 29TH JUNE 2006 7.30pm - 11pm
VENUE: THE 100 CLUB, 100 OXFORD ST, LONDON W1
TICKETS: £20 Available now from www.wegottickets.com

St Paul brings his special brand of Minneapolis funk to London for the very first time this June. A world class musician who has worked with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Rosie Gaines, George Benson and Oleta Adams (to name but a few) St Paul will be joined on stage by an extremely talented line-up of Minneapolis players. Anyone who has experienced a St. Paul gig will already know that he's an excellent performer/musician and is definitely worth seeing live. A show not to be missed.

Discovered by Prince as 17 year old, St Paul appeared in the hit movie 'Purple Rain' as a member of The Time, fronted the critically acclaimed funk outfit The Family (who have been acknowledged by artists such as D'angelo, ?uestlove and Musiq) and released several US R&B and Top 40 Pop Hits as a solo artist.
Featuring classic tunes such as 'Nothing Compares 2 U' (later covered by Sinead O'Connor), 'The Screams Of Passion', 'Mutiny', 'Jungle Love', 'Stranger To Love', 'Rich Man', 'Intimacy' and much more this is a must see show for those who like it funky!

Keep a look out for a prize giveaway competition The DAWN Experience will be launching in relation to St Paul's apperance in London soon...

ST PAUL 5 STAR PRE-GIG PARTY!!!

St.Paul fans Karen Orwell and Karen T. will be organizing a "5-STAR" meet-up before St. Paul's gig at a top London hotel.

The meeting will take place at the Soho Hotel in the Library or Drawing Room - both an absolute sight to behold. The plan is to start the meet-up at 5pm.

The party will then go through for a sumptuous three course dinner in the ReFuel Restaurant. You will be able to choose from the menu which will comprise three courses - something for all to start and the main course will be a choice from chicken, a fish dish or a vegetarian based dish - vegan choices are also available. Sweets are fab and calorie free - LOL NOT!!!!

The price for this meal and meet will be £20 per person which will need to be paid at least two weeks before the date. There will be a service charge to be added on the day which amounts to 12.5% per person - e.g. about another £2.50 .

The hotel is just off of Dean Street/Wardour Street and is approximately three minutes stroll from the 100 Club. The aim is to finish dinner and go straight onto the 100 club.

Send an email to the St. Paul meet-up organisers Karen T Hobby@Onetel.com or Karen Orwell korwelluk@tiscali.co.uk for more details/updates and of where to send your £20.

Check out the Soho Hotel at www.Firmdale.com

P.S. St Paul may even visit the meet-up before the gig (- if he possibly can!!)

This will be a fantastic start to a wonderful evening - YOU CANNOT MISS OUT!
