Sheena E. and Sheila Easton ?!?!?
Okay, this always drives me nuts. Friends still mix-mash these women's names, three decades into their careers. Not the end of the world, just a pet peeve. Anyone else experience this?

Now you might think, hey - that's just a typo. But no, there's more than one person sticking to whatever version he likes most. Yet it's not the real name.

I have heard the names screwed up like this before in that same context.

I remember when "Sugar Walls" first came out.Our local DJ announced it as "a new song from Sheila E"

Because both ladies were associated with Prince,some people got them mixed up."They think I'm Sheena Easton",Sheila once said in an interview.

I remember the first time I heard the song on the radio. The DJ said Sheena Easton but I thought he was confused because I just couldn't see this song being from the same girl that made "Morning Train".

I agree Vainandy,I have always had a problem accepting Sheena as a bonafide Prince cohort. I remember when I was very young seeing her on a talent show (was it Opportunity Knocks?) as this shy,tinny voiced little Scottish girl,then years later with Prince and she just didn't seem to fit somehow. I heard that she was actually quite bossy and stubborn and that she and P didn't get on too well-anyone know if there's any truth in this rumour? she certainly seemed to go from mouse to diva.
