So I made my boyfriend watch Tayna's Island last night with me. I never saw it before. I knew of it but never saw it on TV or at the video store or anything like that. Can u belive it is on DVD now??? Crazy! I can't find Richard Pryor's movie Moving on DVD but I can find this?????

Anyway, the movie basicaly is just werid. And a little disturbing. I thought Vanity looked very beautiful in it. She has a natural beauty that comes along every once in a while. She is beautiful just walking around with her hair a mess, little make up and not all dressed up in lingere. She was kinda like the Halle Berry of her day. I can really see why men are so attracted to her. I used to be in awe of her beauty when I was younger...I do remember thinking "How is it possible for one woman to be that beautiful?" Seeing that movie kinda gave me a new appreciation for her.

Anywhoo the movie is just....I don't even understand why this was made. I think this must have been written by a man who secretly hates women and wants to possess them and treat them as objects. Very disturbing movie.

I saw this movie before and just assumed it was post Prince. It is a weird movie but, she is just so beautiful in it. But, she's always beautiful. I don't think Halle Berry even compares, most women (in my opinion) don't.

I bought it a few weeks ago for 20.00, its worth having young Vanity naked, the movie is pretty stupid, I fell asleep watching it and just remember that damn creature roaring
