Actually on Letterman about a week ago they had a girl who became a stripper because she was curious about it and considered it like a study in anthropology.
She seemed very clean cut and said her boyfriend was pleased to have his girlfriend get paid to take off her clothes for clientelle. She was on Dave to promote her book about the experience. I think she planned to write more, but is she could not make a living, she would be happy "to go back to the pole". Sorry I cannot recall the name of the book. I for one have no problems with strippers, but I appreciate the one's who don't get sidetracked into negativity. I want to see Crystall, you all have made me curious now! merf | |

You've never posted a pic of yourself on here..ever? Well the problem is LOTS of girls are into drugs and prostituion....I just focus on what it is I'm there to do. Otherwise it can really bring you down. But it is a hard job...everyone assumes that guys just hand you money and it's not that way all the time...I work very hard for it...you are pretty much just a sales person....I get tired of dealing with drunk perverts all the time...if you are making money and some of the other girls are not the claws come out and they will resort to starting rumors about you...even to customers!... ...but other days make it all worth it...sometimes you'll just run into a guy who is a total gentleman who just wants you to sit on your ass and drink and talk with him...and PAY you for it! And I have to admit...there is a part of my personality that gets a kick out of doing something socially unacceptable...I get to see a world that other's don't see...since I write alot I've even thought about writing about about my experiences dancing and try to get it published....I wouldn't want to exploit the profession though...or encorage alot of other young women to start doing it...you really have to be a strong person to deal with this world...and know yourself Anyway, no I've never posted I pic of myself on here...I really don't know how to to tell you the truth...I'm a computer idiot! ...but I've given my pic to those that have asked...so.. I belive you are talking about the book "Candy girl" by Diablo Cody (obviously a pen name) Yes I read this book in one day. The author was hilarious. She has a very dry, wit but near the end it kinda becomes a downer. But guess where she danced and lived? None other than Minneapolis! She even worked at Sheiks. I've always been curious about working there but I don't know...I've heard it can get pretty dirty in the back rooms and I don't wanna do that...so...I don't know...that has always freeked me out. | |
