I'm curious because alot of Prince fans seem to dislike her. I was just wondering why. It seems like alot of the Prince community praise Vanity, Sheila or other Prince girls. I'm not saying I dislike the others....I think they all were great I'm just wondering why Apollonia is one of the least liked. Is it because she filled Vanity's role in Purple Rain, because Prince didn't seem that into her, because she can't sing?

I think a lot of Prince fans crack on her because she can't sing.

She might not have been able to sing but I wasn't mad at her. I thought she looked better than Vanity myself. AND STILL looks good!!

people not dislike her..she just left the prince world and doesnt seem to be milking her time in it to extend her 15 minutes of fame.

besides that the chick aint done much for us to discuss..im sure if she worked on a new movie or music project there would be discussion.

couple the above with the fact that we know she is still alive and is seen around in hollywood theres not much to talk about. (unlike someone like Cat.)

I dont dislike her persay, just prefer the ones who played the instruments to her....no real reson, they just have something more to offer as far as Ive seen! Something more to like. In terms of looks, I cant argue there, but to be honest she always seemed a bit of an airhead to me, and I just find it hard to like or respect her because of that! Im not saying she is in real life obviously, I dont know her, I only know Apples the character. And she was a bit slow....

most enjoyed V6 to A6 due to the talent. A6 album has very little that is good on it...where as the V6 album is enjoyable all the way through. There were more (and better) videos for V6 and for some reason A6 seemed like a rip off and a very tame version of V6.

She's got big boobs.

I do not dislike Apollonia at all. I like her. I like her as well as Vanity. I like Apples better than Denise Whatshername now. I saw the former Vanity on TBN and she is kinda radical with her religion. I mean, I'm a Christian but I think Denise is overboard. Almost fanatical.

I liked Apollonia's 1988 self-titled CD. "Since I Fell For You" is a good dance song! I LOVE her version of "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" which was the B-side to "Since I Fell For You". It is/was excellent!!

But yeah I love Apollonia...I so wanted her body when I was twelve! And she seems so sweet and nice too. And funny you talk about her debut album...I found it years ago on CD like wayyy back in the day and I was flippin out!!! Like I felt like I found a treasure! I really loved Apples when I was younger. I have been listening to her album alot too. I really like Syncronize and Ay ya yai and Mismatch. Kinda had that Paula Abdul sound...surprised it didn't do better or at least as good as Vanity's two albums.

People always say it because she can't sing, but none of the "Prince Girls" were real singers. I like apples just as much as the next. A6 was slammin

Vanity had something more to me. She had that extra sex appeal, where Appollonia seemed to be faking it. She looked good, but there was something there that did not ring true to me. She alright! I don't hate her or anything.
