just resurrecting that track , dug out my vinyl and wow what a groove!! Prince sounds cool in the background and when she says "hang on , I gotta go feed the dog" well i can't think of too many more sexy endings to a track - Prince had a bit of a dog fixation around that time what with La la la .

i love this song - P's backing vocals make it.

For the longest time I used to listen to the 12" remix instead in place of the album version on my home-made cassette. But I recently got the CD so I'm now reacquainting myself with the album version. I like how Prince shouts out 'Coca-Cola' for seemingly no reason. It sounds playfully goofy.

Was that the one with the 12" version that had Prince saying something like "So, like u wanna see my rock collection?" Jill says "No" or something and then Prince says "So can I take u out?". Jill screams "Take out the trash!" and Prince replies with a monotone "Oh wow."?

i've only come to love this album in the last few months, and that "feed the dog" line is incredible!!!!

one of the best "protegee" releases EVER !!! i was SO pissed it didn't do better. I still listen to it and actually prefer it to her subsequent releases.

Back then it was my favorite by her, now I can't decide 'cuz Baby Ur A Trip and Violet Blue can get up with it
