I don't have anything against Vanity. I like her just like any other Prince girl, love her albums and liked her movies but Apollonia in my mind blows her out of the water. From everything I ever read about them...in reality it seems like Vanity at the time was kinda a druggie. Apollonia seemed classier and more success oriented. She seems like a very grounded person in that crazy Hollywood sceane and Vanity got sucked into it. I know she suffered alot of abuse so I understand how she got that way but Apollonia seemed so refreshing and lady like. Sometimes a good girl pretending to be bad is was sexier than a flat out bad girl.

That being said I think Vanity is beautiful and a talented actress and singer...Apollonia yes, her talent is pretty much..ehh...well she tried.....but as people I would have to admire Apollonia so much more. She may seem like a goodie goodie compared to Vanity at the time but so what? I don't look up to people for doing drugs and burning bridges and destroying relationships rather someone who is less talented marketing their gifts and trying their damnest to do something with their life. Just my opinon!

Look Krystal666, why can't you like Apollonia and just leave it at that!!!!! It is fairly clear that you have a healthy obcession with her and tht is O.K, but not everyone is going to LOOOOOve her as much as you do!! Why do you need to judge Vanity's life and choices to validate you crush on Apollonia. I am sure I have seen your picture posted on one of your Apples sites and from what I remember you are a big blonde white girl!! So love Prince girls all you like but you are who you are....love yourself first!!! I just don't think its cool Krystal666 that you have to make it a competition or a contest for popularity. Who really gives a s#$%t!!! ALL of Princes associated Artists were who they were and they either established a fan base or they didn't. There was no rule book that said all Prince protogee's had to be adored by all Prince fans. Look , you like Apollonia, good for you! Some like Sheila E. , good for them, and some liked Vanity, yippie!!!! And let's not forget anyone of the others , if you loved them, well good for you!!!!! All I Know is those ladies went out and got a hell of a lot more famous(for whatever the reason) then anyone on this site, so let's just give them thier props and call it a day.

If I'm not mistaken Apples had her share of bad press with drugs too. And since when has drugs been a reason not to like someone in the music biz. Vanity wasn't a great singer but she had her own style and Apples (her replacement) just couldn't fill her boots. People was waiting for Vanity 6's next album and when they heard Apples they were just turned off. Let's face it, she was good to look at

Apples is Great. She should do Playboy and some more maybe soap operas. Appolonia has gotta get back in the mix. She has fans.
