"It's about time" I've seen this album talked about a little in here. I've owned this album since it came out, but I gave it a through listen yesterday and it really made me mad. First of all, Hollywood records should have let Morris and the boys record a full album of new material, not this four song crap. That is what The Time had wanted to do four a long time. Second, if you are going to do a live album, do it right. Don't bleep out the one or two four letter words that Morris says and don't leave out songs like "The walk," "Wild and Loose," and "Jerk out," all of which have always been in their live show. Finally, I know a live album isn't going to sound as good as a studio album, but still, the album sounded like crap. They could have made the sound quality much better.
Other than the new songs,(Which I thought pretty good) this album is a true dissapointment, especially for fans of the time. For those of you who have heard this album, do you agree with me?

I think basically it was a cash in deal on the 20 years after Purple rain and touring with Prince doing the nostalga act(which they do every weekend anyway) I have no problem with the quality soundwise, but I agree about the editing. The show is also out of order which is always annoying. No reason to do that or edit the songs for length(since I think its around 50 minutes or so) or language The new songs were Ok, but that was just Morris, Jerome, Tori and freeze. Monte and jellybean and the other keyboard player of the week didn't contribute to the new songs and of course its not a real time album unless prince is involved After such a long wait it was a dissapointment I just hope some of the 'real" Time material that is locked up will make it out someday [Edited 1/11/06 9:58am]
