Does anybody have information on prince associaed artists/band members chronologically listed?, as in what time periods they worked along side prince. It's difficult to figure this all out by myself and i want to understand prince friendships also.

I did a long list on this last year. But it wasn't my thread. Do a search...

A few corrections:

1. It's Wendy Melvoin not Melvin.
2. Guy in Hat = Greg Brooks.
3. Wally Safford not Brooks.
4. Jerome and Greg were NOT in the Lovesexy band so you should have a separate band for 1987 and 1988.
5. Shouldn't you call him BrownMark instead of MarkBrown?
6. It's Levi Seacer, Jr, not Seaser.
7. Eric Leeds played on the 1985 Purple Rain Tour and 1986 Parade/Hit-N-Run shows as well as some of the 2002 One Nite Alone shows.
8. Sonny T. not Sunny.
9. Dr. Fink played on the Nude Tour in 1990.
10. Mike Scott played on the Jam of the Year Tour in 1997.
11. You skipped the 2000-2001 band of Morris Hayes on keys, John Blackwell on drums, Rhonda Smith on bass, Kip Blackshire on keys and vocals, and Najee on horns.
12. You left out the NPG Hornheadz on the 1991 through 1993 bands.

Yes Jerome played on stage in 86 BUT banging a drum from time to time...no pun intended...doesn't mean he played. Percussion is like Sheila E. She plays.


True Wally and Greg didn't make the 1988 band but they weren't that important anyways. They didn't PLAY an instrument. They were set pieces...foilage. Cat did more musically than those two.


As for the 2000 band I know Najee played and the others BUT they were...well..I call that the dark times, they only played a handfull of shows. Not a full on tour like the others.

Also Levi, Bonnie, Eddie M. and Miko came from Sheila E.'s 1984-98=986 band.
