FYI: Nona Gaye in new movie So I have been seeing commercials for a movie called The Gospel, which is opening in the US this Friday. Nona Gaye is in it, although I don't know how big of a role she has. (Rudy from The Cosby Show is in it too.) Here is the synapsis from imdb and links to the imdb sites for the movie and Nona:

I agree, though i'm still waiting on a new CD from her (it's been 10 years, Nona. What's happening?), hopefully something funky. I heard (don't know how true) that she wanted the first one to be funkier, but the label said "nah, this is what you have to do." Now that she's not with them anymore, maybe she can do more of what she wants. Heck, even Boris got to SING in this movie, a shame she's not on the soundtrack somehow (or is she?  ) | |
