Which associated artists would you most like to collaborate?

For example...

Would you like to see what a Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis/Rosie Gaines collaboration would sound like? Maybe Andre Cymone doing a song with Wendy and Lisa? Sheila and and...I don't know..Tony M? eek

I would like to see Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis collaborate with Jill Jones. They are fablious producers and Jill has a very wonderful voice. I think with the three of them they will make some wonderful music together.

Now that would be interesting. Imagine if they had "stolen" Jill before she finally did her album with Prince? Maybe she could have been right up there with Janet?

THANK YOU. She have the look and voice. All she needed was the supportive record company and some producers she would been bigger than she was. I mention before too that Prince have screw her around of not properly promote her and not give her stronger material on her debut album. Prince was so busy with SOTT to give his undivided attention to Jill as he once again not complete what he started. But the lack of promotion is I feel why Jill remain obscure. The poor girl also was trapped with and she also hurt her chances of doing other opportunites.

But Jill also was at fault for being so patient and willing to settle second best rather than take control and left Prince early on. She could use Teena Marie's help rather than Prince because I felt Teena Marie would hooked her up with some connections too since they were--well still tight to this day.

Jill finally learn though but too bad it wasn't sooner.

Well I think Andre and Wendy and Lisa worked together once on Andre's Dance Electric song but W&L sing backup I guess so I don't think they contributed a lot on the song creatively. However the three of them working together would be... interesting I guess. It be hard for me to imagine the three of them working together since Andre produces and works for R&B artists and Wendy and Lisa...they produces for anyone who is a musician but still the three of them working together might creat a nice and innovative sound. Plus it would be a great reunion for Andre and Lisa who both worked for Prince in Dirty Mind tour.

Hmmm. Interesting theory. I only suggested Andre and Wendy and Lisa out of the blue.Oddly enough, I've been listening to The Dance Electric quite a bit lately. Maybe it was all subconscience biggrin
