A couple nights ago there was a free jazz concert in the park by my house and one of the performers was Cornbread Harris. I found out after seeing the show that Cornbread is Jimmy Jam's Dad! Anyway, just thought it was kind of interesting. And he was good!! Here is a website:

Free as in cost no money. Not "free jazz" I love me some free jazz (saw Ornette Coleman earier this year!) but this was more traditional.
