SLY STONE made his first public appearance in twelve years at L.A.'s Knitting Factory last Monday. The funk legend was there to see the SLY AND THE FAMILY STONE tribute band, PHUNK PHAMILY AFFAIR, featuring his younger sister VET.  Sly Stone is still alive and kicking! Nice to see Sly getting out in public. From what people have told me, Sly was a bit of a recluse who kind of kept to himself and didn't get out much.RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |
