Prince's former significant other Mayte Garcia has been tapped to host E!'s new daily music video series, "The Daily Blend." Slated to debut on July 18, the hour-long show will air Monday through Friday starting at 7 a.m. According to a press release from the network, Garcia will play an eclectic blend of videos from "teen queens" to "the sexiest men and women in music." The question is, will she show any videos from her one-time lover? "U Got the Look"? "Let's Go Crazy"? "Cream"? "Diamonds and Pearls"? She's got plenty of material to choose from.

I guess it's also a tad disappointing in Mayte's case since she's gone on record in interviews stating she didn't believe in boob jobs and would never get one herself. She sold out, for whatever reasons, and I just think it's too bad. She's getting work now, sure, but except for that role in 'Dus' it seems like mostly now what she's getting is cheesecake photospreads in men's magazines, and fluff jobs that stereotypically go to any generic, garden-variety "bimbo with big fake tatas" (E! is famous for TV shows based on that..)

I just am sorry Mayte is going that route with her "career" because in the end, that's not going to carry her very far, imo.

don't get me wrong - I do really like Mayte and I wish her well and I'm glad she's achieving what she wants as far as her life and her career. She went through a lot of hard times in her younger life and she deserves to be happy and a success. I'm just disappointed she felt the need to surgically alter herself, especially when she once said she felt doing so wasn't healthy nor necessary. seems hypocritical to me.

**it's also ridiculous of her to keep denying the obvious breast enhancement she's had. it's sooooo obvious she had one - why not at least be honest about it. that part of the whole thing bothers me too, that she won't admit to the obvious. did she think no one would notice it or mention it, ever?
