They talked about doing this at the Apple Store a year and a half
ago, and now it's coming to
fruition...my girls are gonna be doing a residency at Largo. Every
Wednesday in July except
the first (as the club is closed). They're double-billed with Doyle
Bramhall If you've never
been to Largo...it's no bigger than some people's dining rooms and
living rooms combined.
There's no cover...you're just paying for your drinks and food. It's
an awesome venue.

Well...i've already got my reservation in, so i'll share the
information with you all.

I'm sure Largo's in-house genius Jon Brion will be jamming with them
and almost certainly
playing Prince to their Revolution. The man knows and plays
everything! I have video of him
on my website doing Tom Waits doing Radiohead (must be seen to be
believed).

(Thanks 4 the info Larry. L.A. fans should take full advantage of
this. Take advantage of these shows with Nikka Costa, The Time,
Renato, Wendy & Lisa, Purple Rain screenings. Because, in order 2
proceed in the future, u must aknowledge the past.-j7)

Glad u guys were able to get spots sosgemini and madartista. Clubkid, I let getwild know last night and he said he would tell you today. I plan on attending all 3 shows as well.

And just like Madartista, this will be my first time xperiencing W & L live.

Saw Wendy last week with Nikka on stage n saw Doyle there as well.

I got the call too. They told me that it's a minimum of 2 people for dinner reservations per show (and if the other person doesn't show up, you get charged). So I'm just doing the first one for now, and I might :gasp: wait in line for the other 2 depending....

He said the venue only holds 150 people, so the availability will go quickly.

He also made it sound like 135 people will be seated and 15 people without dinner reservations will get in, so he advised making reservations as opposed to waiting in line... I guess we'll see after the first show.

I have an idea.....been slow on my responses. Got hit by a 16 year old driver so been a little slow on replies lately.

Listen, I got into an accident and got to take care of a few things with my car and still working (Only missed 1 day since June 2004, and only 2 days in two and a half years)and promoting for Nikka Costa, and the Time and putting 2gether the bumpsquad Q.


But enough about that. Let me see what I can do o.k.? I got reservations for all three shows for three people. I am sure one wants to go to all three. That will leave one spot open for two shows. Let me talk to them o.k.?

I know you are really really into them and if it meant getting you into the show and their were no spaces left, I would give up my seat to get you in.

I am not making any promises, but I will see what I can do and also check on the bump Squad list to see who has reservations. All I can do is try and I will do that.

Madaritsta, you know I will try to do the same for you for the other two shows, but let me see if I can take care of sos first since he wasn't able to get any spots, cool?

Madartista and Clubkid can vye for me. I am no L.A. flake and the only reason I would not return a phone call is if I extremely busy, not because I am ignoring it.

(I do however, still owe Madartista some Madhouse stuff IIRC. Ducks again)
