Madaritsta, you know I will try to do the same for you for the other two shows, but let me see if I can take care of sos first since he wasn't able to get any spots, cool? You can continue on this thread or hit me up thru an orgnote. Madartista and Clubkid can vye for me. I am no L.A. flake and the only reason I would not return a phone call is if I extremely busy, not because I am ignoring it. (I do however, still owe Madartista some Madhouse stuff IIRC. He also made it sound like 135 people will be seated and 15 people without dinner reservations will get in, so he advised making reservations as opposed to waiting in line... I guess we'll see after the first show. Man, we missed the boat! The group of us together -- with a reservation for 4 or 5 probably would have got all three dates. Shadyness? My friend went there tonight and he was told by the guy that there are still reservations available for the W & L w/ D shows. Hmm.
Try to make reservations under a different number for the other dates. And yea, if you are calling from an out of area phone number, they are mostl ikely NOT going ot call you back. Worried if you are from out of town you will have trouble making it to the show possibly? Darn why they have to play in LA only?
Not all of us W&L fans lives out in West coast and also it be so nice if they pay other cities a visit. I can't speak for some others but I cant afford to fly out just to see them. If they come to New York City and play a gig I will be there and even though I am sort of far in Brooklyn. | |

I don't think it would hurt them if they financial themselves you know just play small in other cities and work their way up. And people will come definately and and is me or it seems that they gain new fans more in the last few years than back in the 80s. I been a fan of theirs since 1993 so I an oldie. I heard that they got some good response when they tour around girls bro era. I know it sucks of not having a label and I got the impression that they might not never have another chance with a big label, and yes Wendy said she wanted to be sign again with another label but at the same time she don't want to compromise her creative freedom either. I guess they so spoiled of not being telling what to play or what they should look that they probably dont want to deal with an arrogant and also superficial record exe who yells where's the chorus? again | |

Hey yall checkout their website at wendyandlisa.com and if you haven't heard they are going to have more shows until aug 17 (except aug 3) and that is same day as lisa's 45 birthday (my god has time flies just yesterday she looks so dirty mind era) too so hopefully they going to have her birthday party (too bad I can't come). I guess that this Largo gig is getting great buzz so if you people in LA area Sosgemini you said you wanted to attend more shows if I were u I would make early reservations for August. And also anyone else who couldn't get into the july shows.
