Wasn't that kit played by Prince as well?? All the gals say hoe if your man's giving up the gold. All the fellas say ruff if you're only giving up the bone.

Nice to see our very own NouveauDance's screenshot is being used on the auction too! It's nice and gratifying to know people 'within the camp' visit the Org gallery too! Good luck Sheila & co - let's hope it makes a mint for these kids. [Edited 6/9/05 14:24pm]

("This kit has been kept in road cases since it was last used with Prince" suggests that it still has heads from the Lovesexy tour.) Playing around with it in the home isn't going to hurt it much, especially since it's not going to be in mint condition after two tours. Alas, the bidding is almost at $6K, the reserve hasn't been met, and there are still five days left for bidding. I guess I'll have to be content with my souvenirs from the Musicology tour: Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position. |

$10,000+ for a used drum kit? Now if it were Prince's bathtub or something at that price... then we're talkin'. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

$10k was the reserve for this. I think its still a good price considering what its been used for. I could see this ending up in a Hard Rock somewhere. http://www.goldiesparade.co.uk/ - Prince discography, tour history, news and more.

how is a drum kit shipped? If it doesn't fit, it's ugly anyway.
