Mayte was with Prince for about 10 years. I think it was from 1992 to about 2002. Do you think that she should write a book? I've never met Mayte, but just from observation she seems like a sweet natured person who is not very smart. She makes questionable choices in her romantic life, i.e., Wade Robson, Joaquin the dancer from Spain, and Tommy Lee.

In a way, she has some odd karma. She stayed all those years with Prince, then decided to leave. And once she left, Prince was reborn, back on the charts, huge tour, Grammy awards, etc. I think it would be an interesting book..plus she would have the real story on how Mani came to be a Paisley Park...

Well she met Prince in 1990 and was in his life untill 1999 so yes that is a good nine years of knowing the man. Although I don't think they got romanicaly involved untill 1995 she sure got close to him and it would be intersting from her perspective what he is like. I love Mayte...she is my idol! Yes she should definatly write a book, maybe if her prodjects dry up finnacialy she will be forced to!

As much as I would love it, I really have a great deal of respect for her because she hasn't. No matter how P treated her, she seems to carry herself with a great deal of dignity because she keeps her business to herself.

Well I think in magazines she is like already writing about her life a lot of the recent articles she been in are interview questions and her answer to the questions so adding all the articles I think of it as a book about her. I know it's not a book in format, but just adding the articles together to get to know more about her past and present life is already enough to read, but If she does publish a book I'm for sure going to buy it.
