Chaka was disappointed with the lack of success for her album 'Come 2 My House',but I don't think she really blames Prince.As far as I know,she is still on good terms with him.

anyhoo, (back on topic), not only the kevin smith story..i believe i read an article when she was releasing her recent article how she felt forced to create her own indie label because of her problems with dealing with prince (on the business sense).....

U know with Stevie being a HUGE Prince fan and P and Stevie had even dated at one point, Stevie was very familiar with Mark and his playing style. Mark should have left P and joined Stevie. He had done all he was going to be able to do with P. Mark could have went on to write and produce some stuff for Stevie.

No, if u did some research, you'll find that P and Stevie did actually date. In 83, Stevie was P's "date" at an award show in Minni. There is a printed interview from Stevie talking about P driving her to one of her shows and him driving like a mad man. It wasn't as open to the public like Rick James dating Linda Blair, but it was known. They were dating on and off even before P wrote the music and played keyboards and guitar on Stevie's cut "Stand Back".
