The great studio version is on Morris' 1988 release "Daydreaming."

I have the "extended version" of Fishnet on a compilation called "Minneapolis Funk" that I bought in Paris last year. I prefer this version to the (shorter) album version..

That 12 Inch is bad as hell. The dub version is really great, it breaks down with just the synths and the drum machines.

la glub glub glub...

Although the only difference I can tell between the album version and the extended on the 12" is the extra instrumental part at the beginning of the 12". Also I think the album version has some audience applause at the end? I used to always try to merge the two on my tape deck. smile

The live version is cool too...the fellas still rock the house, especially on "Fishnet" live when Morris does some funky dancing.
