THE TIME vs. THE REVOLUTION???

Just peeped the new issue of Stone Roller magazine. Anybody seen it yet? There's an interview w/ Fink's protege Lolly Pop... The interviewer asks about Monte Moir picking her/TELEPHONE! up for his label... Pop doesn't comment, but says some cool things about Fink & Moir. What I wanna know is: is this an old school Revolution vs. Time score being settled???

Where do you get Stone Roller? I've never heard of it, or Lollypop for that matter. What's the deal with her?

Here's a cut & paste from the Star Tribune about "Electropunk" interviewing Lolly Pop & others:

Electropunk: Officially a Genre
(Minneapolis Star Tribune 03/17/05)
http://www.avenpitch.com/...press.html

& here's a couple of related websites:
http://www.telephonetheband.com
http://www.myspace.com/lollypop

You can find the mag (Stone Roller) around the Twin Cities (Minnesota), but mainly in the 'burbs. I found mine @ Minnesota Music Cafe where Jelly Bean plays with his other band (JB & The Routine) every Tuesday night. It's always a freaking GREAT time so if you're in the Minneapolis/St. Paul hood, you should hit it!

have a funkin' week,
ScarletteP

Actually. I just realised there's like 9 or 10 articles on that website that talk about her & Electropunk... City Pages, Pulse, Strib, Synthpop Mag etc., etc.

Stone Roller seems to be the only one that's a full length interview & talks about Fink & Moir. It kinda seems like somebody's trying to hi-jack somebody's act, though... If y'all know what I'm saying!

neutral the interview doesn't really say that (Time vs. Rev stuff) but it could b true. eye heard there was a lot of tension between them back in the day 4 real, like in the movies. they were both keyboardists in competing acts. Fink discovered & is producing her, but Moir's trying to get her under contract with his label. there's something odd about that but ur guess is as good as mine.
