Mazarati's second album does exist! The CD (yes, CD!) recently sold for a bundle on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eB...eName=WDVW It looks legit to me. There's even pictures! From what I have read here though, the music is nowhere near as good as on their first album. I'll just be happy to get the two 12" singles. But this is one big mystery solved.

You'll have a better chance of winning the lottery than finding an official copy of this album. Just keep monitoring ebay until another one comes up. Or until some nice orger volunteers to send you some mp3s.

The world is not a better place with this album in it. Very little from the first album exists on the second. It may as well be two different groups... -->> This Space 4 Rent <<--

i've heard it. it's nothing to get all indiana jones about, you won't find much that's terribly interesting. the best stuff is kinda like the filler on the first album.

I think the fact that a b-side from one of the Paisley Park singles made it onto the album says it all.

Yep, I've got both of those 12"s, and played them about once! Now they just take up space on my shelf - damn, they don't even have the ridiculous 80's picture covers that you can pull out and laugh at every now and again.

I had a cassette of this somewhere. Not really worth messing with IMHO. Without Brownmark's magic touch, they suffered GREATLY.

I can't believe someone actually paid damn near $400 for this! "haters wanna hate/lovers wanna love/I don't even want/none of the above/I want to piss on you/yes I do/I wanna pee you..."

Yes, we all know that it exists (or should), and besides why would you care? Whomever paid $400 on Ebay is not a completist, just a dumbazz...

The second post on this thread proves you wrong. I knew it existed, but had never seen it. It's just nice to attach a name to a face. And I've read enough bad reviews to know it isn't worth getting.

I have it on CD, although its not official, it's a very well made and professionally pressed bootleg, which is good enough for me, i aint paying that much just for something official. plus my version has all the outtakes on it, including "kiss" and "come together". |

All I remember is the dope-ass lead single "Saga of a Man" that I scooped up on wax back in 94. Then my buddy found the 2nd album and burned it for me. Now if I can only find the Tamara and The Seen CD it would be all good...Oh, and BrownMark's 2 CDs. Desire, it covers our faces

I have this Mazarati release on cassette... does anyone think it is worth anything in this format??? Brown Mark was involved on the project but it isn't as good as their first one. Morris Haze, formerly of Prince's NPG group in the '90's, was one of the keyboardists on Mazarati II... there's a bit 'o' trivia that somepeople may not know...

$400 is nothing...
I sold my vinyl copy on eBay 2 years back for $570. I bought it on eBay a year earlier for $20.

damn. just seen all the hate! i for one LOVE mazarati 2. especially "up all night", "saga of a man" and "one girl"... i think the first mazarati album is only slightly better.
i love all the outtakes too, which i have on my bootleg version. their cover of "come together" is amazing. |

I ditto that. | |

From my recollection, BrownMark produced 5 of the 9 cuts.
