I think they just had the ONE album. Then they came back as "Kool Skool", but I think they may have changed some members by then.

Neither CD is in print, but every once and a while, they show up on EBAY.

da Krash released one self titled album. There are also 3 12"'s around. 2 for the song "Wasn't I Good To Ya?" and 1 for "Trapped In Phases". The CD version of the album has one of the remixes as a bonus track.

This album (and the 12"'s) are well worth seeking out. The music is rock/funk with the trademark Jesse drum sound to the fore. This album is essential for any Jesse fan out there!

As already mentioned, they later changed their name to Kool Skool and released an album in 1990. The line up was pretty much the same but the style of music was completely different. Somehow they had become almost a swingbeat act together with some very poor and embarassing rapping. There was also 3 12"'s release from this album.

Since then I haven't heard anymore about the guys although the drummer did play on some of the tracks on Jesse's "Bare My Naked Soul" album.

I hope this has been of some help to you and good luck finding the records!

You gotta love daKrash - guaranteed to make your ears bleed whilst on the move...

As for Kool Skool - well, I seem to remember a funky ass mix of 'You Can't Buy My Love' and some fantastic Kim Cage backing vocals but otherwise a real disappointment. Just picked up a CD copy for a couple of dollars so will give it another spin (against my better judgement!)

I think they messed up when they reinvented themselves into Kool Skool. While it was a tough way to go for a band that rocked with their funk, there was a niche. Lenny Kravitz sort of gets it now. And Jesse was pretty good at that kind of sound back then.
