This video was made on January 3, 2001.

Check this out! Original file was 611 megabytes, so I reduced it to 282 megabytes!

I would love to change at least 1 person's mind about Larry Graham with this video! It is truly A*M*A*Z*I*N*G

Larry is indeed a great bassist however Bernard Edwards was better and in the end more influential IMHO

more influential? larry ivented the the thumb slap techique, that every bassist who came after him including nathan east, marcus miller, bootsy collins, and stanley clarke uses to this day....

Wow this was a great (tho chessy 80's) vid. THe thing about these instructional vids is that they dont teach you anything but you do get to see some great playing. And Larry is an amazing bassist.

Yep perhaps he did, but did he revolutionise disco, and in turn rap? i give you Good Times/Rappers delight - I meant Influntial in terms of commercial and airplay ie recognisable by the masses , and Bootsy acknowledges Bernards skills

i'm not spittin on bernard's skills 'cause theres no doubt the man is a legend, all i'm sayin is that larry would have 2 be the influential 1n 'cause his contribution birthed an entire decade of players....shit how 'bout an entrie genre?

Thats right - hit with the history lesson. I am sick of the lack of respect for Larry.

Larry Graham's influence on music is undisputed.

The guy is a bass-playing legend. Just listen to any of those early GCS albums.

thumb-slap rhythm guitar was around long before larry graham popularized it.

anyway for my taste even though larry is great, victor wooten is the world's absolute best bass guitar player.
