Rhonda Smith on Victor Wooten's "Bass Tribute" song

Stop what you are doing and run to pick up Victor Wooten's latest CD "Soul Circus" on Vanguard Records. The funk oozes out of this one. Guests galore like Bootsy Collins, Jeff Coffin, Christian McBride and yes, Rhonda Smith adds vocals to the track "Bass Tribute" where Victor gives much love to bass pioneers Andre Cymoné, Larry Graham, Brown Mark and if I listen closely, Prince gets some props.

www.victorwooten.com for all the latest info and he is on tour right now. And, Victor may even be on my WVOF this Monday or later in the week. We will keep you posted.

I love, love LOVE LOVE Victor Wooten. I can't praise this guy enough for his unreal Bass abilities. A Show Of Hands!! Amazing!!! And his Bela Fleck stuff, is quite naturally, "cosmic"! wink (Fleckheads you get me right?)
