MPLS update: Music 4 Charity [this is not spam, this is a trip]

ALOHA TELEPHONE! V.I.P'S!
We've missed you... It's been ages!
Things have been moving in a most fantastic fashion
and there's *LOTS* brewing. For a peek behind the
scenes, please visit:
http://www.telephonetheband.com
and click NEWS.

Here's a quick round up: over the last couple months
we've been finishing up new material for the first
ever Lolly Pop (solo) release, 'Glamorous Life'! We've
been hard at work on the new show too: we're playing a
sneak preview of it (& partying like it's 1985!) this
Saturday night @ the Kitty Cat Klub in celebration of
UCKF's brand new release, '3'!

Saturday's line up features yours truly (TELEPHONE! f.
Lolly Pop- on @ 9:30pm sharp!), AVENPITCH, Chicago's
very own masters of laptop cabaret THE MYSTECHS
(*yay*!) and- of course- UCKF! I've listened to their
new record (repeatedly!) and it's boss... If you love
New Order, Fischerspooner, Thosquanta or new school
NIN you'll find a great deal to sink your teeth into
on '3'. You'll also love their live chemistry- 3
cheeky boys, proud to be the hot blooded bachelor
Valentinos they are! And that's not even mentioning
THE MYSTECHS... or Avenpitch... It's gonna be a killer
night to say the least!

Also, it's MUSIC FOR CHARITY time! 30% of the door
profits from our set will be donated to BRIDGE FOR
RUNAWAY YOUTH... There will be a rep from the BRIDGE
on hand to answer questions; a donations tin for those
of you who would like to help BRIDGE additionally as
well as an email list in case any of you might like to
volunteer. We toured the facility this afternoon and
were astounded at the amount of work they've done...
Since 1969, they've had open doors, 24 hour
counseling, family reconciliation and integration
programs for runaway teens and youth at risk. They've
helped thousands to date and have strengthened our
community in so many ways... If you have a moment,
please take the time to visit their website:
http://www.bridgeforyouth.org/

In INTERNET news, we (thanks to Mr. Jeffrey!) opened a
new site & made some cool new friends on the 'Net this
week on Myspace.com! If you're on Myspace and would to
link up, send us a shout out through the system... Our
URL is: http://www.myspace.com/lollypop

Last but not least, I just finished up a full length
interview for the April issue of STONE ROLLER
magazine. I gave 'em the low down on the new record,
cast & crew as well as some top secret gossip! We'll
let you know as soon as it hits print! In the
meantime, look for the new issue of RIFT... There's an
article coming out this week about us
Electropunks-including all the local acts that are
playing Saturday!

At this time I would like to pause... I want to say
thank you to everyone who has come this far with us.
It's a very exciting time & we're looking forward to
seeing you this weekend!
Love,
:>
Lolly Pop
