Definately CAT! mayte was very pretty, but imho, she couldnt dance worth a damn. all she could do is swing her hair around. cat really moved. she FELT the music. plus that video mayte did of if i love u tonight sucked!. it was so overdone with her trying to be sexy...she definately decorated the stage more than any other dancer, with her beauty, but talent, including singing, was awful. i guess thats why shes so popular? today, no? (ha, ha, ha).

I have to say CAT by leaps and bounds. The chemistry she and Prince had can't be touched.

I think Cat and Mayte both brought elements to Prince that he needed at the time. But I liked CAT alot more than Mayte. Even though, Mayte was a more "experienced" dancer, CAT was more "STREET"...gotta like that.

Did anyone see the E! special on Carmen Electra?

How involved was she when Prince toured?
What was up with them?
Why DIDN'T Prince make known their relationship?

they both brought out different qualities in prince & his work. mayte's is exquisite, but cat ROCKS! as far as performance--cat without a doubt.

I think Mayte is very beautiful. I've noticed that many people make assumptions about her and think that she is vain or greedy. How do we know, have u ever personally met Mayte. She is beautiful yes and she doesn't have to try simply because Mayte has natural beauty. Also I don't believe in comparing anyone. If that is what Prince does than I wouldn't respect him as much either. It's fine to admire one's qualities but to come out and say I feel Prince would have been better with Cat rather than Mayte well I feel that's a bit childish. Nobody wants someone to choose who will be their soul mate. I think that when Mayte and Prince were 2gether his music sounded more sincere and authentic. They were nice when they had each other but obviously constantly having 2 deal with contracts would get irritating. What I don't understand is why it was so wrong 4 Prince 2 stay with Mayte under contract, yet it seems Manuella is okay 4 that sort of commitment.?????

CAT! I've never seen 2 people have so much energy be4. The SOTT movie made me tired as hell just watching it and Cat did contribute with her choreography. I also love the Lovesexy era, but Mayte was cool also.

What I really dislike about Mayté (besides the fact she wasn't a funky dancer,had a terrible haircut & that she couldn't sing or play an instrument) is that when she appeared, there was no longer other women in the band, just as if she had to be the only one.

Wendy, Lisa, Sheila, Boni & Cat really added something to Prince music, it's hard to say the same thing with Mayté !

I think Prince needs the presence of female musicians in his band and I'm glad to see Mayté 's gone & that we have Rhonda & Candy instead.

i would have to say Cat. I loved her stage presence with Prince. Their performances were vibrant, full of energy and fun to watch. They worked well together.

Mayte was eye candy, that's all.

Mayte is much better looking,

Cat probably has a little more talent,


it's hard to tell who has a better personality, as they both choose to subjugate much of their personality & style in the face of Nce..

I wish Cat would have taught Geneva how to dance.

Mayte was more of a prop.
She danced well in the video "the one"
but Cat blows her away on footwork and body language.
