I was wondering if anyone saw Rick James and Tina Marie in concert recently. Apparently The Time was the opening act. I have yet to hear any reviews about it. Anybody know anything about this?

I haven't seen it but I would love to. Isn't that a trip though, The Time opening for Rick James? That's really strange, a Prince project opening for Rick, as much as Prince and Rick don't like each other.

I've seen The Time live many times but I've never had the pleasure of seeing Rick or Teena. I would love to though. I heard Rick live on The Tom Joyner Morning Show about two years ago and he sounded horrible. Apparently his voice had never recovered from the stroke. From the other orgers that saw Rick and Teena's performance on the BET Awards show, the majority of them said it was horrible. I still would love to see the tour though because Rick is my second favorite artist.

I DIDN'T, BUT MY SISTER DID THIS SPRING AND SHE SAID THAT THE TIME AND TEENA MARIE
WERE EXCELLENT, BUT, OF COURSE, RICK JAMES IS JUST FAT & TRIED. SHE ALSO SAID THAT HE DID GOOD WITH TEENA ON FIRE & DESIRE BUT THE REST OF HIS SHOW WAS WEAK.

Well i was suppose to se them that weekend here in new york that Prince was here. july 17.
thats why i knew that Prince was going to bring T he T ime out for a couple of his shows here in New York. The Rick James, Tenna Marie show was rescheduled for Oct 16, i will let you know my opinion of the show then.
