Prince,The Time and Sheila E. rocked msg on 7/14

I went to the monday night show and that was great, but wednesdays's was even better. I knew he was going to bring the Time at least for one show because they were here in town play with Rick James and Teena Marie( unfortunately the show was cancelled for july 17 and will be rescheduled at a laterdate) Prince even changed a few songs on this show, he played Dear Mr.Man, Pass the peas. It was great tha the Time opened for him.I was so excited when i saw Sheila e.coe up from the ground and starting playing the Glamorous Life,Iwas hoping they would sing A Love Bizarre but they didn't.I spotted afew celebrities there such as P. Diddy, Chris Rock, L.A Reid, and Lenny Kravitz. The after party at BB kings was boring. Prince did not performed but later on they showed the concert from the garden that night. iI was standing close by the v.ip. section,Prince was there with his wife Mani, Morris Day, Jerome, Sheila E. , Chris Rock, L.A. Reid,Mya, and mostly everyone from the Time and the NPGwas there except Candy, Rhonda, and Maceo. The dj was horrible, he really sucked. Heplayed some good music but he kept trying to mix and was bad. the records kept skipping. It got so bad at one point the crowd was screaming at him. Prince and Morris was busy talking and then the both of them was just laughing at the dj.Sheila was full of love she was just hugging everyone Morris, Jerome, Chance, John Blackwell at the same time trying to eat her buffalo wings.Prince was surrounded with around 5 or 6 body guards andthey was definetly making sure no one was taking pictures.I did not stay for the screening of the concert because i had to go to work in a few hours , so i need to get some zzzzz.I am going to the continental show tonight ,I hope Sheila opens for him tonight.

I went to the show last night at the continental in jersey. It was good show but not as good as the New York shows. He started late and the is a curview at the continental so he did do the beautifulones, nothing compares 2 u and a few others. the only thing he did different was he sung alittle bit of A Love Bizarre mix with Controversy. Thank God i went to the New York shows too.

Oh I agree on this one!!! I was at the 7/14 show and all excited to see Prince. But when Morris and The Time came out, I lost it. They had so much energy and being the opening act my voice was so hoarse from "sqwuaking" that I thought I'd be mute by the time Prince ended. Then Sheila E came up through the stage floor and again, I damn near had a fit. She was great...not to mention that she still looks fabulous. Didn't go to BB King's but had the chance to meet them over the weekend so it was a pretty phenomenal time.
I'm gonna make you love me...

Well, the NY shows were Really Great but I Thought Jersey was Even Better. The Time Played Longer. I wish Shelia played NJ also. The Second night at B.B. Kings Was Fantastic seeing the Video from That Night. I Nearly had a Heart attack. I Love that Club anyway. It's Great with Musical groups, food and drinks.. Great place. The Dj wasn't all that bad.
