MAZARATI QUESTION Who/ What/ Where/ is/ was Mazarati, and what was Prince's involvement...anyone? I've just 'aquired' the album and I'm liking it. | |

This was a side project masterminded by BrowneMark of the Revolution. Prince contributed a few songs (100 mph and kiss to name two) but took back Kiss for himself, though Mazarati can still be heard in the background...
oh, they had a second album on Motown with no Prince involvment, but from what I hear, it's nowhere near as good as the first. I believe there was a new lead singer. They promptly disappeared after that... [This message was edited Thu Jul 22 9:38:47 2004 by amyhr] -->> This Space 4 Rent <<--

who were they - and what are they doing now? maybe Brown still keeps in touch with them?? it was a great project!! the 1st one with Brown/Prince i mean. i have the second album on LP but no where to play it, so i haven't even heard it - music is its own reward - Sting | |

I heard that Mikki Free (Shalamar replacement for Jeffrey Daniel) was going to be the new lead singer for Mazarati. Was he on the second album? Andy is a four letter word. | |
