Anybody know what he's up to ? Heard rumors he performed with the fellas recently (The Time)

no live performances with the Time, but rumors say that Jesse wants to do some recording with them. He has a solo album in the works. here is a link to a site of guitars he endorses. There is a short video of him on there

"What's up with Jesse?" is always my main associated artist question. Now, I get to see him and watch him play a little - video should've been longer...

That guitar is an acquired taste - reminds me of Bo Diddley's box guitar, though it's a bit more "out there".

Have you folks heard a rumour or story I'm not aware of? Last I heard he was residing in California and still active musically. It's been about 8 years since "Bare my naked Soul",
which I liked alot, so I'd be very interested to hear what he comes up with next.

If Moris Day is cashing in on the new popularity of Musicology and the anniversary of Purple Rain, why shouldnt Jesse. He is probably the most complete musician from the original lineup of the Time and certainly has the best solo catalog.

THat music that is playing behind Jesse as he talks about the guitar in that ad sounds like his stuff. I dont recognize it so perhaps it is new music from the record that he mentions in the ad. Can anyone tell me how to save that video file? I cant find it in my temporary folder.

hello people....i was reffered to the site by a friend, who is a huge prince fan (who is always asking me for inside info), as i see many here are.....i've worked with "The Man" and still work and remain friends with many current and ex members and also those of the Time and other mpls based artists' and groups.....Jesse is currently working on a new album and producing some other artsts' and resides in Arizona.....one of his old band members from his solo tours remains very close to him and is working on the project as well, as for the time...jesse and the time haven't spoke much in the past years as far as i've known except for legal issues..hope this gives you some info your looking for...the only thing i hate about sites like this is info that isn't correct....and i will try to clarify anything i can... . Kip Blackshire is performing alot around mpls and his cd should be done this month....Kip is a perfectionist and the last cuts i heard were ridiculous....the album should do very well given the right promotion....as for me and who i am...i prefer to remain anonymous to most, but i can give very accurate detailed inside info on alot of the things i see posted here....as i am closer than you will ever know.....
