That is a horrible rumor... Morris is a great keyboard player and to my knowledge, he was never known as being gay. I liked Mo in the NPG camp but you know how P likes to change up @ will just to get a different vibe. ... you never know

He got his own sound though and can really play all instruments. heavily-underrated and if half the people knew his talent and musicianship, he'd be out there as an artist rather than a musical director for everybody else. Guess it's just a matter of being in the right place at the right time and who you know, concept, image, marketing etc. I hate to see someone like him play "All night long" "Dancing on the ceiling" or "Proud Mary" for the rest of his life behind someone else. His 2 albums can't be f*cked with from the funk standpoint after Prince. IMO

2 answer the question as WHY did the aliens put Renato at the place of Morris, it's cuz they thought NO ONE would notice the difference between them (stupid Cardassians!) & run after them 4 Morris, while they thought a Sheila E keyboard player's disappearence wouldn't b noticed by anyone b4 they'd b faaaar away from earth.

Didn't Morris Hayes play in Sheila's band at some point? Either at the Family Jamm or recent gigs.... or maybe during her 1986/7 tour?

(I've heard Raphael Saddiq (sp?) was in that 86/87 band, which btw I saw twice and they were TIGHT! My avatar photo is actually from that show)
