What kind of policing does a web page need? I don't think I've ever seen more than three. There must have been some serious shit happening on this board to have 8 mods. What's the deal???

P.S. I posted in General Discussion 'cause that's where the mods are listed. A lot of boards have different mods in different forums.

This is kind of related... I'm not naming any names, but I never see ANY of the mods for the GD actually 'modding.' In fact, most of the responsibility seems to fall upon a certain few mods. I know people have busy lives, but why did these people ask to become a mod in the first place if they had NO time to contribute to their duties?

I'm not trying to come off as rude. I'm really not. I'm just rushed as fuck. Many apologies if you all think I'm a prick.

The reason I brought this up is because some of the mods - again, not naming any names - are scarce to be found on the site, esp. the GD. It's not only that they're not doing much in the moderating department per say, just that they're really not present on the site at all much anymore. They're not even around much to post or check up on things. And isn't that what leads to 'poor' moderating? Not being in 'the know' and not being able to make fair decisions because they're not aware of certain situations? I know that's why a lot of people were bothered when ben starting making such decisions, because he wasn't really around much to witness the going-ons due to his busy personal life.

Once again, there could be a million things going behind the scenes here that none of us know about... I'm just asking because, well, I'm curious. And it makes me feel better that Dansa is beating ya'll to the punch.
