for what it's worth i think dansa is doing a great job moderating the site
her "locking banners" are funny as hell... and it adds comedy to the whole process, without being mean-spirited her taking over as the main mod has definately improved this place imo if you don't agree...feel free to continue to be wrong love bliss

Moderator | I think I like her moderating style too. We often forget that this is a freaking website and in reality it is a very small part of the whole picture. She helps to keep everything in perspective. Keep up the good work D! In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

I wonder what Jay Sherman thinks about Dansa's moderating.

She's not too soft, not too hard - she's just right. She'd make Goldilocks' ass very happy.

I like her, but it seems like she's been locking a lot of harmless stuff lately, for no other reason than on whim. Overall, though, she's great. And when I say great, I mean that I haven't been deactivated once since ian left.
maybe she isn't such a good mod... "oPS i HITTED THE CAPDLOCK"

I think dansa's been doing a great job, especially considering that she's the only one doing the moderating most of the time.

agreed. they had her busting her ass last night too. Who's this mysterious "they" and "them" you keep talking about, Chris? You've been saying things like "they had her busting her ass" and "don't get 'them' started again" a lot lately. I really don't think comments like this add anything positive to the discussion--in fact, I think they are often a way of stirring up problems with the whole "us and them" mentality. And as I recall, you posted on all of the threads that were locked/deleted, you were not just a bystander. I like you, Chris, but I've just been noticing some ways you're responding and it puzzles me. [This message was edited Wed Jan 21 9:40:48 PST 2004 by AnotherLoverToo]

I think Dansa is awesome too. Her style and judgement are a very nice addition. I wish we had 6 of her. Thanks, lady.
I would also point out that she isn't the only one who moderates. She's more vocal about it than Matt is, more likely to insert comments, and participates more in non-moderator capacity than Matt does, methinks. But I org-stalk the boy (ie. monitor his profile and check out the majority of his posts), and he does moderator stuff all the time. I'm tired of seeing all of this crap about how he is never here and never does anything. He just doesn't jump up and down and look for thanks. Which is good, because he'd prolly never get any from y'all ungrateful bastids. Obviously I'm biased, but I don't freakin' care. I'm allowed.

agreed. they had her busting her ass last night too. I missed out on all that but in general she's the one who's all over the place and still doesn't take this place too seriously.
