alt.music.prince - the players

How many are here from a.m.p. days? I got to remembering one dude who went by JoeyCoco as his handle. He was at Paisley Park during one of the celebrations (I think), and tried to swipe a VHS tape from a room. He got caught and kicked out if memory serves. He dated another girl from a.m.p. who had the worst typing and grammar. Flat out lazy, and wouldn't correct even the smallest of mistakes. They both lived in Minneapolis, and were a bit wacky.

I remember Juvenile (Lee?) who was a musician, Liberation (who was from the UK I think, and booted every single thing ever put out), T - of course (who would get into huge fights with T about who booted what first and the source of those boots; T usually won), Helix (a rather angsty 18 year old), and lots of others.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

I was there under the same ID as this one.

I remember The Urvile, whose signature was "Pretty Fly For A While Guy". LOL, I guess he either couldn't fix the typo or didn't care.

There was a dude named Lou who always bragged about the girls he shagged. No one ever believed him. Someone posted a picture that was purported to be him and it was so freaking funny.

AMP is where "Hey Hanigan" surfaced.

Everyone knew T.

I remember UrVile! LouSpears was kind of a dickhead, if memory serves (if that's the same Lou).

I remember the "Hey Hannigan" stuff, and it was hysterical how it took flight on its own.

I was there, but read more than posted. I was a variety of handles at different points but mostly 7779311 or Shocadelica.
