Thanks, Org! I was a rabid Prince fan until the early '90's, when we began having/raising children. I read headlines, heard the occasional song, but wasn't connected like I had been. On April 21, my youngest daughter's birthday, I was gobsmacked to say the least. After the birthday dinner festivities were finished, I got online and found the Org. So much information at my fingertips! I got so many questions answered through posts and Google searches. I found music from Musicology and 3121, read about fighting for musician's rights, philanthropy and general cool things about Prince, and my heart was streaming purple once again. My family isn't going to listen to any more Prince stories from me, so I am extremely thankful to have a place to come and celebrate one of the true geniuses of our generation. It doesn't hurt that he's dreamy to look at and listen to, either! Thanks again, Org!

I'm grateful for The Org too! I joined only after his death, although I've lurked here through the years off and on. Since April, I pretty much have a one track mind and, yeah, you can only run so many things by friends and family before their patience wears thin haha. So it is wonderful to have a place to come to everyday and read and share. We all want the stuff that's found in our wildest dreams. . . | |
