I've tried shift + enter, while I'm writing the post it looks like it's spacing properly between the paragraphs, but once I hit "post message", all the spaces are gone.

What am I doing incorrectly?

Hmmm, I did the shift + enter after I wrote the sentence....and it made a break between paragraphs this time. Is that what the process is?

Apparently, the edit I added to that post is what needed to happen. If I just press shift + enter, then start typing, it doesn't work. I have to at least post the first sentence, then put the cursor before that sentence and hit shift + enter to make the paragraph. Thanks anyway, guess I figured it out myself.
