Does anyone remember when the .org used to look like this?? I honestly wish the .org was still like this!! it was WAY FAR simpler and in a lot of ways, more social!!!!

I remember.

It was not more "social". There were only the prince related news threads to "socialise" or express yourself.

But it was mad crazy fun. That is very memorable.

Yes, it was more social, because posters on the old .org had their email addresses displayed above their comments so it became more easier to contact them and build up better friendships(remember this was WAY back before Facebook and Twitter!!)!! On this version u cant because, to a great extent, people on here havent got their email addresses in their profiles. Also the mods took down the Statistics section on the front page making it more difficult to check out new .orgers, etc.!!!

ALSO, DO U REMEMBER WHEN EVERYTHING IN THE PRINCE WORLD WAS SO SPIRITUAL AND FULL OF LOVE, PEACE AND HARMONY???

No, many/most people didn't show their email adresses. Rightfully so. The old org didn't have orgnotes, nor forums. It was basically a one way street of prince news and freaky hardcore prince fans and other hoodlums reacting to it and most of all to eachother. It was always based on Prince news tho. That made it unique. Discussions could then go from prince to whatever you could imagine possible. That was the greatest part about it I think. Not even the prominent posters, tho they of course made the place so alive and without them it changed; but it was even more so the limited set up of the old org that made it so special.

I definetely do remember. And how prince.org showed how the prince community truly was.
