Shout out to the old purple and black days of the message board where everyone would flock to one long thread to talk incessantly for hours. And you'd have to refresh the screen every few seconds to see the 10 to 50 new messages

It was a very different atmosphere and much more fun.

Are old threads from that incarnation of the board available somewhere?

I remember when this forum replaced the old messageboard and we all had to re-register and try to get our old names or invent new names.

i also would like to point out that when Prince was performing on Jimmy Fallon, the camera was pointing towards the NO EXIT sign which was the opposite of NATO. Well done that camera person.

in the old days we had to write down messages on bits of paper and pass them around as there was no computers back then

I have to admit and be honest, some of you orgers have the upmost sense of humor, I guess a kind of dry humor, I'm not and expert on the subject, but I do get a chucke from time to time, and after all, isn't that what it'a all about?
