I am younger than you My youngest age 16 A MJ nut says the same as I. We just happen to love music past and present day and give props to the likes of James Brown, Elvis etc stuggles in the industry and style/music that inspired many great artists that we have today. They are the ones that opened the door for the likes of Michael and Prince.

I agree with this. I like Michael Jackson's music, but some of the fans here post about him way too much, and are quick to attack anyone who dare say anything negative about him. As long as those things continue, there's always going to be a sticky.

Madonna threads don't pop up as much as Michael Jackson threads do.. there's been six Madonna theads in the last ten days (keep in mind that she has a new album, and new singles out.. so that's understandable); there's been ten Michael Jackson threads (and that is not counting the sticky) in the last ten days (that is also not counting the half-dozen Jackson 5/Jacksons threads, and the 2 Michael Jackson niece/nephew threads).

The bad thing about the Michael Jackson sticky is that only a few people post there, and they never post anything even slightly interesting. All the non-sticky MJ posts attract more people, including people who aren't hardcore, uncritical fans.. so we have better conversations. And we actually talk about Michael's music, rather than how cute his ass is, or whatever else they talk about in the MJ sticky..

...But as long as we have those who must constantly disregard site rules and post 10+ Michael Jackson/Jackson 5/Jacksons threads a week, the sticky isn't going anywhere.

So what? These are totally valid songs by various artists to talk about! The fact that Michael is featured on each one of them is irrelevant. It's a music forum, isn't it? And people, who never visit or post on the sticky are posting in those threads. If no one would be interested, they wouldn't stay on the front page.
