I know people use "Prince-style" spelling on this board and can get a little creative when typing, but I can't get my head around the appalling spelling and generally poor use of the English language on Prince.org...

Some posts are so poorly written that the meaning is almost indiscernable. I'm not addressing people who don't use English as a first language here, just those of us who should at least pretend we went to school...

Sentences usually only have one full stop at the end, not three.

Notice you using the old ellipsis there (...), but not in the more formalised and accepted manner, but informally and to end a sentence, rather than to indicate that something has been missed out. Shocking...

A fair cop. None of us are (or is that 'is') perfect. Just wanted to draw attention to the mauling of the language that passes us by on the internet.

Haha, I was only jesting with you. I make mistakes, we all do from time to time, but I find that the internet generation to be particularly bad with the use of the English language.

Except for some notable cases, we non-English natives have a much better English than many Americans (and some UKers).

I can't stand those 'I want to here it', 'it's there last album', 'Their having a good time' and -the worst of it all- 'I should of done...'.

I can't understand people can't handle their native language.

The use of Princebonics is a different chapter, though. People who use then just show they're childish, immature, and most of all think that makes them appear as 'bigger' fans than the rest.

Properly using one's mother tongue should be a priority. They should master that before starting their computers.

Most people can't figure out the difference between the words in that list. It's sad how ignorant people in this country have become. I don't mind a little artistic typing occasionally, but theres a limit to that before you just look like a moron. People that write with texting shortcuts should also be shot. I read somewhere that some students even try to write like that in school now.
