You were the one that told me to look up the definition of the word bootleg and I did that for you but you still keep trying to pretend that you weren't trying to bootleg Prince's copywritten material when you asked people on prince.org who had heard it, to Orgnote it to you but that is EXACTLY what you were doing because you were asking someone on prince.org...to distribute to you...a copy of a song that I'm damn certain Prince holds the copyright to...that he only authorized to be aired, therefore distributed publicly by the Current!

This message board has a strict policy against file sharing. Why some folks are trying to act brand new about, I don't know!

That policy doesn't just apply to Prince songs either. However, much more of a stink arises when it's done in the PM&M forum because of Prince himself and his heavy handedness in protecting his copyright.

using windows IE, you need to highlight the link, then the 2 icons before the A are highlighted....click on the link one.

then a link/edit window opens...paste the address in the url line, then hit the insert button...and Voila...link created!!

its long winded...the other option is to copy and paste into address line, and the copy link from there...my link to the thread below worked that way

Actually, the record industry frowned upon that too but they didn't get all pissy like they are now about it because back then you'd probably make a tape for just you and maybe a few of your pals.

When the internet and the original Napster came to be, they realized that suddenly people had access to thousands of pals all over the world and blamed file sharing for their decline in sales, instead of themselves for the decline in music.
