I have been on the Org since 2003 and I must say that I signed up to have a place to post positivity for Prince and to get information on shows.Since that time I have seen so many disgruntled Prince fans and former employees here that it has completely ruined this site. Sorry for the long post, but seriously if you don't like the man or the orgers who post here-WHY THE FUCK DO YOU CONTINUE TO COME HERE? I post a thread...Why do people judge Prince???? I don't know if anyone's picked up on it, but I've been kind of negative the past couple days. 
I don't think I'm always negative, and as Ivy stated, if I've got something good to say, I'll say it. If it's bad, I'll say that too. If you think it's a contradiction or something for someone who feels like me to be here, well, so be it, but it's not a contradiction for me. And seriously, what's to be expected here? Being a Prince fan is a freaking master course in contradiction. You have people who claim to adamantly support Prince and his business practices on this site, especially as it relates to policing the web and not allowing videos on youtube. Yet when mp3s and videos go up, they go download them to their own computers. That's contradictory behavior. It's EXPRESSLY against Prince's wishes. You can't be a "real" fan and do it. Also, on this site, you actually have hardcore fans of Prince proclaiming with pride that they DID NOT join his website and anyone who did should have known better. That's weird, isn't it? And then there are those videos Shelbey is posting on youtube that are directly from Prince himself, but we can't link to them here for fear he'll sue. This site just reflects that contradictory nature, I think, and it's a contradictory nature that Prince himself has set up and propogated. So I'm just going with it. Sometimes I'm pissed off about certain things and want to say so. Sometimes I just want to express my love for "Alexa de Paris" or whatever else tickles my fancy. I don't see anything wrong with either. | |

Your first thread about Prince and George was nice and folks just ripped it apart. All of that is uncalled for-we are all here supposedly to show appreciation for Prince and his music, but some just take it to far  | |
