I clicked on the link to come here,and I kept getting redirected to other sites. The first time I got redirected to a gospel music website,and then when I tried again I got sent to a auction site (not Ebay).

I thought I had just hit a wrong button or something. It happened to me too.

If there's nasty stuff on your computer it can be scanned and removed with those programs. if afterwards the problem still exists, it's another problem. But one step at the time.

It just happened to me

I accessed the org just now with no problem.

Maybe it happened to some people while Ben was doing some tinkering behind the scenes??

Definitely get AVG Free and Spybot Search And Destroy. But, the first time you run them, run them in Safe Mode. If malware is found and cannot be removed by those two programs, run ComboFix http://www.combofix.org/ and all should be good. Note that you may need to temporarily disable System Restore to get rid of some malware.

Safe Mode allows access some of the malware that can't be found otherwise. Safe Mode can be booted by holding down F8 after rebooting. You'll then have the option of running Windows in Safe Mode/no internet access.

You can run McAfee, just don't schedule different virus scans at the same time. Disabling McAfee after you have AVG and SpyBot S&D will most likely speed up your computer, though.

No Spybot search and destroy! That can seriously screw your computer up if you don't know what you're doing cause all kinds of things will show up there. I'd recommend ad-aware, it's much more stable. I have had no such probs, I run Ad-aware and AVG.
