I understand that people are interested in Michael Jackson. But why can't there be just one thread where everything related to him is discussed?
I'm a member of a Madonna forum and in the other music section, there's one thread for Christina Aguilera, Britney, Janet, Kylie and other artists in which there is a lot of interest. Everything about them is put in that one thread. The moderators of that forum have the ability if anyone starts a new thread about any of those artists to merge that into the thread that already exists. Well, the poster in question has been banned.
I hope everyone that reported threads and posts had their concerns addressed. Now it is up to us to police ourselves and the forum. Please take the time to look for relevant threads and post on them when possible and keep posting the diverse tracks and artists. It keeps the forum fresh and may open some orgers up to new music! Thank you to the mods that handled the problem and helped clean up the forum. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

This comes up repeatedly (I've started a thread on the topic myself as well) and the mods refuse to enforce the rules of the forum ("Go easy on the multiple same-topic/artist threads"). So every now and then it's a big, big annoyance. It's to the point where I don't even enjoy discussing his music here (and I'm a big fan).

Yep. Some people are resistant to the idea of growing up and just letting the past be the past. MJ was great, but you can only watch the same videos and hear the same songs so many times before it gets boring. It wouldn't be so bad if these people weren't still kidding themselves he still has a viable career when it's clear he's not committed anymore. And yes, his hardcore fans are all somewhat deranged.
