What's the deal on posting Prince pictures here? If we can't use them I might as well delete all of mine. What about using them in avatars?

if photobucket removes your photogoraphs and you believe (1) you are not infringing on a copyright or (2) they fall under fair use....than you can keep them.

By law, when photobucket (or any ISP) receives notification of an alleged infringer, they must notify you and give you and opportunity to respond. Some ISP's (such as photobucket) will remove them pending resolution. If you don't respond they consider it resolved and the pics are gone, never to return.
