Time ? Okay
If on the org there was a time clock always displayed near your name with the time you have spent on the Org each day for all to see ... would that change the amount of time you spend here ?

Since the advent of high speed Internet a clock means nothing.
Sometimes I log in the morning and then keep it there while I'm working in another window on topso it gets easier to lurk every now and then A clock would be lying to me

Moderator | I'm aware of my time here... It wouldn't change a thing. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

it might be helpful if perhaps it was included in "my org", something like
"you've been logged in for one hour and fourteen minutes" i know i feel like a tool when i realize how long i've been in the chat sometimes. there it's visible from the pull down "list" button if it was visible for everyone to see on the forums people would just lurk lol

When I had hi-speed internet it was not unusual for me to just leave my comp on all the time and go about my business around the house. I would check in if something made noise, like if I got an email or someone IMed me or something.
