Re: who on the org are Jehovahs Witnesses? some new dude asked the org who in here were JW, and the thread was locked... Ben says there is no point to the thread... Why is there no point to the thread, how is this decided??? If this was discussed in old threads, well too bad... because those threads are not working and newbies cannot go back and find their answers. So don't send them to threads that don't exist anymore. This new org is ridiculous. Why can't we just go back to the old org (black and purple one! lol) it makes more sense than all this censorship crap | |

To answer the question on the original thread, I used to be a JW,
but for some reason they didn't like having a foul mouthed, drunken faggot in their midst.

Whether or not a thread is "pointless" is decided by the moderators. They make a call using their own judgement. It's Ben's website, so if he thinks a post needs to be locked then that is the way it shall be 
Seriously though - the thread was obviously flamebait - deliberately inflammatory, intended to start arguments, and potentially discriminating offensive and derogatory to certain people on the site. I don't see how that bigotry is any better than the racist and sexist crap that is already banned according to the forum rules. So I think it was a very reasonable decision to lock the thread. Certainly, easier to just lock the thread than to deal with 100s of reports from people offended by it and requesting it to be locked. | |
